Trip to Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory

On April 30, 2017, grades 4 to 9 students visited the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory were they discovered and explored different types of telescopes. Students were shown the earliest telescopes, their functions, and their importance in finding out the detailed features of stars, as well as other planets in the galaxy. The trip was followed by a picnic. This trip was organized as part of the science curriculum for students to explore planets outside the classroom. After the picnic, students had fun in Gobuland, as they took part in different activities such as hiking, cycling, and Karting. They also played football and hide-and-seek. It was an enjoyable day well spent.
