Students in Grades 1 and 2 Learn to Make Pizza
Students in grades 1 and 2 at SABIS® Sun International School, a SABIS® Network school, enjoyed a pizza making day on April 9, 2016.
Students took a trip to meet with an Italian chef who was an expert at making pizza. The students received warm welcomes when they arrived and were given the chance to prepare their own pizza one at a time. There were two master chefs who explained how to prepare the dough, add the sauce, and helped choose ingredients for the pizza. Each student prepared their own pizza and added the ingredients they liked the most. After they preparation was done, the pizzas were taken to the oven to bake and then on to the students’ plates for lunch.
The pizza making day was a great activity that encouraged students to spend time together, play together, share, and communicate with one another. All the students had a wonderful time and took home certificates for all their effort.
